[insert ominous Gaster theme music] It's 2022 now. No comic updates were posted in 2021. There were several reasons why this happened, mostly due to me getting a job again and just not having time. Throw in some technical difficulties here and there, and almost immediately losing inspiration for the TF2 comic I was planning to release, and you have a recipe for disaster. A four-course meal of no-siree. The editing-stages of Chapter 20 of Device still exist, but I'm really, really not happy with them and am planning to scrap them. The reason my comics have a relatively fast process from editing-to-uploading is specifically because I am my own worst critic; the longer it sits, the more problems I'll have with it, and this fate befell Chapter 20 aka Darkest Night. It's almost entirely editing with a few story aspects I'm not pleased with, and to re-shoot it would probably take me several IRL hours of work, but that's nothing new. So. It's 2021 now. When I began The Device Has Been Modified in 2020, I was thinking it would take a few months to complete. This was because, as I usually do with my comics, I write like an idiot by the seat of my pants. Sure, TDHBM had a basic plot outline, but a lot of different things cropped up as I wrote which lead to it exploding in length. Right now, we're on Chapter 19 publicly, but Chapter 20 is very much in the editing stages. So I should easily knock through it right? Uhh, here's where the problems start. I've lost a lot of inspiration as far as TDHBM goes. It was supposed to get two sequels, now it's looking like it might get one and not even in GMod form, IF it even comes out. A lot of things lead to stuff being this way, the primary reason being I'm a depressed disaster who can't finish things to save my skin half the time without losing steam (hehe) midway through. Another thing that happened was I got back into Team Fortress 2. I really, really want to make a TF2
